I am Giuliana Amicone,
I’m a Math and Phisics teacher. My main aim is to
motivate my students in order to let them become autonomous in studying my
subjects through scientific books, magazine and researches.
I live
in a village called Agnone of about 6000 inhabitants.
Agnone is characterized by very cold winters and by a
deep respect for traditions such as the feastival
called “ndocciata”. The ndocce
are light torches which are borne in procession along the main streets of the
village on Christmas Eve. They remind the ones which in the past were
borne by peasants to enlighten their way to the midnight Mass. As soon as I am
on school holidays I interrupt my school routine with a journey. In the last
years I’ve visited many foreign countries such as: Scotland, Turkey, Belgium, Netherlands, Tunisia, Czech Repubblic, U.S.A., France,
Portugal,
Hungary,
Lapland,
Slovenia,
Greece,Germany,
and my Italia.
My last hobby is the creation of cactus
composition.
